Class Styles
We believe that yoga is for everyone, every body, everywhere. That’s why we’ve designed all of our classes to be accessible, approachable and welcoming.

Open Yoga
Suitable for all but absolute beginners, this class has a little bit of everything: postures and optional flowing sequences woven together with gentle stretching, mindful strength and breath awareness. A wonderful all-round practice.
Yoga Gently
Cultivate greater awareness and connection to the body. Accessible and approachable, this class offers a blend of restorative postures, gentle movement, breath awareness and guided meditation. A wonderful counterpart to more dynamic, flow-based practices.

Restorative By Candlelight
A deeply relaxing evening class designed to soothe stress and nurture the nervous system through supported restorative poses that promote rest and relaxation. Classes often include the meditation practice of Yoga Nidra, within a candlelit studio. Join us in-person or live online [Monthly]
Pregnancy Yoga
Move towards a sense of calm and connection in a safe practice that will help you find space in both body and mind through your pregnancy. Build strength, connection and calm, and use breathwork to prepare for labour. Join us from week 12 of your pregnancy.

Post-Natal Pilates
A Pilates class to support new mums in gaining strength and support postnatally. This class will focus mainly on abdominal work, particularly for strengthening the core and the pelvic floor areas. Students will also concentrate on general arm, shoulder and leg strengthening as lifting and carrying baby.
Reset Yoga
Most things work better if you turn them off and back on again. Reset Yoga combines a movement practice followed by an opportunity for deep rest through a guided Yoga Nidra. Suitable for beginners as well as those with a regular practice.

Pilates With Mel
A mat pilates class to work the whole body with particular attention to core strength.
Most weeks will be a general overall class and others will be focused on specific body parts. All classes are suitable from complete beginner to intermediate level. Modifications are given for beginners and progressions for those who like a challenge.
Arise Yoga
A Saturday morning class to rise and let your body flow into the weekend. Layering in mindful movement with breath and body awareness, whilst also taking moments to pause and reconnect. Suitable for all unless absolute beginners.

YATB Classes
No matter which style you choose, we’ll help you create a space to connect with yourself, to find greater awareness and ease, and to support yourself as you move on the mat and beyond through life. If there’s a class you’d love to join that we don’t offer, let us know.
Our classes are:
Open to all (the only requirement is that you have a body!)
Inspired by the Hatha style of yoga – a breath-based, moderate practice that encourages us to connect inwards.
Fully-accessible with modifications offered so you can adjust the practice to suit you.
Based on invitational cues – you’re encouraged to honour your own needs and go at your own pace.
Not sure which class would suit you best? We’re here to talk through the options and help you find something suitable. Get in touch!
