Gently Rebounding


A practice created to support locating rebound in our movement patterns.

Possible props needed (but if you do not have them, do not worry, you can still practice):

  • Yoga mat
  • Several blankets
  • Possibly a cushion

This class will explore the spring, the bounce, the uplift that comes when we have a clear connection to the ground beneath us and clear pathways of movement from the ground up.  When we focus on yielding as a movement pattern we consider doing only 80% and letting 20% just come.  The invitation in this class is to really focus on that 20%, what comes after you do a little less, after you find the ground, what arrives in return?
